Well, made it through French Quarter and Jazz Fests with great performances of all my bands. Lots of gigs coming up next few weeks. Washboard Rodeo returns to Mimi’s, Blues Trio plays Sankofa Market and Freret Street Market. In June, a reunion of the legendary Ophelia Swing Band in Gold Hill Colorado celebrating the 35th anniversary of the release of our first album. The Blues Trio travels to Grapevine, Texas, outside of Dallas for a concert. Plus, all the regular gigs. Hope to see you there!

The Final Four has concluded here with Kentucky winning it all and I got to go to the game! Festival season is upon us and all my bands are playing this month. Tin Men, Palmetto Bug Stompers and Washboard Chaz Blues Trio are all playing French Quarter Fest. Washboard Rodeo has a couple of Thursdays and along with Da Bugs, will be performing at JazzFest. We’ve got weddings, parties, fests and our regular gigs, so hope to see y’all somewhere

Happy Leap Day!! Recovering from Mardi Gras and gearing up for a good month. Da Bugs are off to Portland, Oregon and Blues Trio going to Univ. of Mass. Alex and I are playing with Paul Sanchez on Wednesdays this month. Washboard Rodeo plays the newly reopened Circle Bar. Come on out as we warm up for festival season

Well, made it through Halloween and now a busy November. The Blues Trio are playing various weddings and parties along with their regular gigs. Tin Men are at Emeril’s Foundation benefit, Freret Street Market and Historic New Orleans Collection. Washboard Rodeo is at Emeril’s Foundation Benefit and Swamp Fest at the Zoo. The Bugs are coming off a successful Voodoo Fest performance (see nola.com for a review) and playing Sundays at dba. Hope to see y’all out!

Feeling Like Fall

Tin Men take a break from our regular Wednesday dba gigs till Oct. 12 – instead, Alex and I jam with Paul Sanchez on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. Lots of good gigs with every other band, including the Palmetto Bug Stompers and Washboard Rodeo. Aquariums, boat rides with dancers, Wednesday’s at the Square, weddings and the clubs. Hope to see ya!

West Coast Bound

The shows have been great this summer, especially New York and Oshkosh. Off to Pt. Townsend for Centrum’s Blues Workshop first week of August and then I’ll be home for the the next few months. Tin Men take August off at dba, back Sept. 28. The Bugs are slated to perform at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans at the end of October. Hope to see you at the gigs!
