  Well, we made it through the 5 year anniversary of Katrina and all my bands are busy this month. September marks the return of Tin Men to dba on Wednesdays and Washboard Rodeo has three gigs this September! Palmetto Bug Stompers are playing for the Lindy Hoppers at the end of the month and The Blues Trio starts September in Colorado and ends in the studio to record our 5th (wow!) cd. Hope to see your face in the place!

  It was a very successful Europe summer tour and now back in the states.

Also, I'll be in Oshkosh, Wi. with Paul Sanchez and his Rolling Road Show. Then off to Colorado for Labor Day at Jax Fish House and the Gold Hill Inn.

  In the middle of an awesome Europe tour including Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Fun to reconnect with Roberto Luti we jam with Andy Forest as the Blues Trio. Thanks to everyone who's come out to see us!

  Finished a great but quick tour up east at Michael Arnone's crawfish festival. It was the 21st year, with great NOLA food and music. Tin Men backed up Paul Sanchez with Debbie Davis as the Rolling Road Show.

Check out the Blues Trio on the show "After The Catch", Tuesday July 5 on the Discovery Channel. Hope you saw us on episode 7 of HBO's Treme. We are getting to be TV stars.

  We had a great fest season here with all my bands keeping busy - highlighted by Tin Men on the Acura Stage at JazzFest. Purchase a live recording at Munck Music.
  Tin Men will be sporadic at dba this summer with The Mirlitones filling in. In the upcoming months, I'll be traveling in the US and Europe with some of my favorites - hope to come your way.

The Washboard Rodeo CDs have arrived, you can order now! The CD Release Party will be on Thursday March 18th. Come on out and dance!
The Blues Trio will be shooting an episode of the HBO series, Treme, that airs in April. It's a new drama about New Orleans musicians post-Katrina from the creator of The Wire.
Also, I've added April and May shows so you can plan your festivals accordingly!

Who dat? I am fired up as the Saints are Super Bowl Bound! Washboard Rodeo is wrapping up production on our first CD - Washboard Rodeo - that will be coming out in late February - join us at our CD release party!

As for Jazzfest 2010, Tin Men have been moved up to the Acura stage on Saturday April 24th. Plan accordingly!
